Places of interest
A new section in the blog where you can send some details to me of an interesting photographic place. Could be a landscape or a nature opportunity or anything really that might be of help to another member who may be looking for some new subject matter to shoot. Might even be of assistance for a future set subject, for example.
I’ll kick off with this one. Rosser Park, Ashmore, in the trees to your left as you drive through the one way system and opposite the entrance building to the Sensory Gardens. (see Google Earth pic below)

Tawny Frogmouth Owls have nested in one of the trees, back from last year again, a local told me this morning, and can be found in neighbouring branches. There are 4 altogether, two adults and two young.
Being Owls, they sit posing for a long time, which makes life a little easier for us.

Please send me through your FIND. Include a google map or a Google Earth pic if need be and a couple of photos.

(Lorraine Jones)
2. To establish whether members are agreeable to a change of meeting night, which may assist the committee in finding suitable premises with a larger capacity than at present
