1. GCPS Club Competitions
2. Robina Exhibition
1. GCPS Club Competitions
The following is due to be amended for 2007 with the introduction of Impact judging and other amendments as agreed in 2006.
Grades. The club has 3 Grades, a Beginners (B) Grade, an Intermediate (A/B) Grade and an Advanced (A) Grade.
Beginner (B) Grade is for beginners and new members. A new but experienced member can elect to go straight to A/B or A-Grade or begin in B-Grade. B-Graders may move to A/B-Grade or A-Grade at their discretion after giving the competition Secretary 1 month's notice if their work in clearly well ahead of the current B-Grade or A/B Grade standards.
The society's recommended guideline for advancement to A/B-Grade is the achievement of a minimum of 4 awards (Merits or Honours) from the date of joining the society. B-Graders who achieve 8 awards (Merits or Honours) from the date of joining will automatically advance to A/B-Grade.
Intermediate (A/B) Grade is a transition grade between B-Grade and A-Grade. A member would normally remain in A/B Grade while they develop their shills and until a further 8 Awards had been received.
Advanced (A) Grade is for all other members.
